Pacheco Marsh Is Now Open
A must-visit, and rare opportunity to experience a thriving wetland with miles of welcoming trails.

New Trailhead at Fernandez Ranch
Quickly get to some of the best views these 1,185 acres of open space near Hercules have to offer. A short hike takes you to sweeping vistas of the Bay.

Clear Path Along Franklin Ridge
Now more easily walk from Almond Ranch to Sky Ranch. We're adding new trails and unlocking gates.

New Entrance to Harvey Ranch
Approximately a mile down Bollinger Canyon Road is a new entrance to Harvey Ranch. A moderate climb through oak woodlands takes you to the Woodland Loop Trail.

Crosswalk at Painted Rock
Thanks to the generosity of the Moraga Community Foundation and Town of Moraga, there's a new crosswalk to the main trailhead to hike Painted Rock.

New Benches at Harvey Ranch
Pausing to take in the remarkable views of central Contra Costa is more inviting with new benches in special places.
