MANAGER OF STEWARDSHIP & PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT 

The Manager of Stewardship and Public Engagement facilitates JMLT’s program development, including the volunteer program, large- and small-scale restoration projects, and property advocacy and future program development. Under the direction of the Stewardship Department and Development Department, this position is dynamically involved in engaging the public to protect and restore the natural and cultural resources of the Land Trust’s unique properties. more>>

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The Development Manager will work to engage low- and mid-level individual donors through a variety of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts as part of the annual fund. Additionally, the position will support major gift efforts for our multi-year land acquisition campaigns and work to engage and secure corporate support for our annual signature event. This is an opportunity for someone to work across a variety of fundraising efforts with a team of four other development professionals. FAMILY HARVEST FARM APPRENTICE I

Apprentice I employees will be hired into a 6 to 12-month program designed to provide on-the-job training through a variety of farm tasks, including seed sowing and planting, bed preparation, irrigation, weeding, pest and crop management, harvest and post-harvest handling, bouquet making, and working with the public such as giving tours and leading volunteers on the farm. In addition, apprentices will participate in workshops focused on farming, life skills, and exploration of employment and educational pathways. more >>
