Meet a Screech-Owl
Join Lindsay Wildlife Experience to meet and greet local birds who-WHO are active during the twilight hours. Create your own bird journal at home! Before the event, review the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Explorer Guidebook (available in español también) and be ready to share about the sounds, habitat, and birds you have discovered while exploring outside. Create your own bird feeder for an easy way to view birds without disturbing them.
See what’s growing at our organic farm in downtown Pittsburg. You can also find out what is growing in your area month by month with this Seasonal Food Guide.
Join Astronomical Society of the Pacific to see what is up in the night sky and explore the “Red Planet” Mars. Track the moon phases at home! Look for the moon in the sky each day to complete Your Moon Journal, designed by Astronomical Society of the Pacific. For more resources, visit their website.
