Please Join Us!

Join the Carquinez Watershed Council for a guided hike up old, ranch trails through the beautiful rolling hills of Fernandez Ranch.

Please dress appropriately for a hike in the sunshine. Wear closed toed shoes, a hat and long pants. Bring bug repellent (just to be on the safe side), your re-useable water bottle and lunch. Please join us after the hike for a brown bag lunch!

The hike will be led by Glen Lewis, John Muir Land Trust (JMLT) and Dean Kelch, Botanist, Carquinez Regional Environmental Education Center (CREEC).

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Heidi Petty with Contra Costa Resource Conservation District at hpetty@ccrcd.org

GETTING TO FERNANDEZ RANCH

Heading east on Highway 4 take the first exit after Franklin Canyon Golf Course onto Christie Road. Use caution as Christie Road is a minor exit. Fernandez Ranch is .7 miles down Christie Road on your right. Plenty of parking.
