Join John Muir Land Trust at Canyon Club Brewery for a pint to discuss Painted Rock and what’s next for public access. Learn how to get involved with the Painted Rock Trail Building event on May 16-17, 2020 hosted by JMLT and Volunteers for Outdoor California. Plant Life Hike

Come learn about local flora and land conservation, free and fun for all! Join California State Botanist, Dr. Dean Kelch, John Muir Land Trust's Open Space Ranger, Glen Lewis and Contra Costa County Resource Conservation District. The hike will be guided up old, ranch trails through the beautiful oak spotted rolling hills of JMLT’s Fernandez Ranch. This is a medium level hike. The Whipsnake/Windmill loop is 2.82 miles round trip, 410ft elevation gain. Please RSVP here and reach out to hpetty@ccrcd.org with any questions.

Enjoy a festive day at the National Park! There’s something for everyone. Join as we celebrate the addition of West Hills Farm to the John Muir National Historic Site and the much-anticipated public opening of beautiful Almond Ranch.
