Another stellar event!

Stargazing event at JMLT's Fernandez Ranch

The stars were definitely aligned for another stellar Stargazing event Tuesday, August 18th, 2015 at John Muir Land Trust’s Fernandez Ranch, a permanently protected 702-acre natural area.

Each year, John Muir Land Trust is proud to host this popular event in partnership with the Mt. Diablo and Eastbay Astronomical Societies and Chabot Space & Science Center. Beginning with an optional walking tour, and followed by an ice cream social, the Astronomical Societies’ present views through their phenomenal telescopes, and expertise of the night sky!

2015 Stargazers saw great views of the crescent moon, Saturn and its ring system, the Andromeda Galaxy and the tail end of the Perseid meteor shower!

see them!
